I spent a few years living in Wellington, and I often admired the Brutalist style of the National Library building on Molesworth Street. I'm sure that a lot of people consider it as an eyesore, but it's undoubtedly an important landmark, not to mention the fact that it houses their billion dollar heritage collection.
